Ingredients
- 4 (1-inch thick) Beef Strip Steaks(8-10 oz each)
- 2 large garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp coarse black pepper
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp of ground cumin
- 1 tsp of brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Preparation
- Peel and mash garlic and salt to a paste.
- Stir in chili powder and remaining ingredients, blending well.
- Place steaks on a plate and rub with paste mixture.
- Carefully transfer steaks to a sealable plastic bag.
- Seal and refrigerate 4 hours to overnight.
Cooking
- Grill steak over medium-high heat (350° to 400°F) to desired doneness.
